Interview
Questions for Des:
What
do you like most about 'Lazerous Syndrome'?
I
think the way we develop ideas from a seed to the final vision is always a
meeting of minds. I like the way we can be unrestricted about style of song and
above all it's fun to be in Lazerous Syndrome. People ask me if the millions we
have made have changed our lives…I can truly say yes, we love the money and
want more please.
Why
did you choose to compose electronic music?
I
like things with lots of buttons best. The more buttons the better really. I
also need to have lights that flash when I play ‘em. Also, they have to be on
sale or on special offer and not too big to get into my car
How
would you describe yourself?
I
am an average person who wants the forces of peace and wisdom to reign on this
planet.
Hobbies:
Writing
Music, Fencing, Running, Investigating the spiritual nature of man, going to the
movies, cooking
Your
favorite bands?
I
really like lots of bands and my favourites tend to change regularly. Currently
I listen to Faithless, The Chameleons, and Chicane.

Are
there people you admire?
There
is a Lady in Rangoon ( Aung San Suu Kyi free her now)
who headed the popular Democratic Liberation front. Incredible
suppression of human rights occurs
in
Burma every minute, every day. She is the hope of freedom, the fulcrum of the
future. She has been under house arrest for her beliefs for a long, long time.
She is willing to suffer anything for what she believes in and never ever gives
up on hope for her people and their freedom. She is a hero. She should be
sainted.

Questions for Ashley:
What
do you like most about 'Lazerous Syndrome'?
I
love how unique we are, and how we flow together so well, although we are so far
apart. I like Des' sense of humor and how we get along so well. There are no
band quibbles between us. I think Des should be a stand up comic on the side.
What
do you like about being the frontman?
I
have been singing since I was a little girl. Singing is as natural to me as
breathing. I think it's a fabulous honor to come up with words for Des' musical
masterpieces. I'm also very touched that so many people have liked our work and
my voice.
How
would you describe yourself?
I
am a whimsical dreamer whose dreams become real. People seem to think I'm sad
because my pictures always come out that way - but I'm actually a very happy and
positive person. I want to be known as someone who cares about others and who is
not ashamed to admit a mistake and make it right.

Are
there people you admire?
God.
Me and Bono have something in common – we’re both Christians in secular
bands. I admire the life of Christ immensely and I try to follow the precepts
– loving others being the foremost thing.
